Sho Hangai, MD, PhD
Postdoctoral Fellow
Sho Hangai obtained his MD at the University of Tokyo, Japan. After graduating from medical school, he was trained as a hematologist. He then started Ph.D training at Dr. Tadatsugu Taniguchi’s lab at the University of Tokyo. During his Ph.D course, he studied molecular mechanisms of how dead cancer cells modulate tumor immune microenvironment.
Currently, he is working on emerging therapeutic targets for gastrointestinal cancer, with particular focus of tumor immunology. Outside the lab, he enjoys playing outdoors with his kids, exploring the nature of New England area and playing piano. Contact: [email protected] |
