Aguirre Lab for
Pancreatic Cancer Research

Welcome to the Aguirre Lab!

We are a basic and translational oncology laboratory with a mission to improve the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer. We use genomics, functional genetic screening, molecular and cell biology approaches to:

  • Understand the genetics and biology of pancreatic cancer and other RAS-driven cancers
  • Discover and mechanistically define new therapeutic strategies that can be validated in preclinical cancer models
  • Translate laboratory findings into new clinical trials

Our research team is comprised of bench scientists, computational biologists and clinicians who work together with a common goal to improve the care of pancreatic cancer patients.
